From "The World Around Us" #24, a series published in Aug., 1960 by Gilberton. Page one splash page is a 5.25x9-1/8" printed photo stat. Beginning w/page two artboards are 14x22.5", each w/10.5x18" India ink image areas. Art is unsigned, but first story "The Hitch-Hiker" w/seven pages is by George Evans, and second story "Room For The Night" w/six pages is by Gray Morrow. Remaining stories are - "The Ghosts Of Gold Gulch, Ghosts Who Make A Racket, The Sixth Sense, The Scientific Search, A Question Of Ghosts, The Mummy's Foot" and six pages have "The Talking Mongoose" title in pencil at top of pages. All features nice art, but artists are unknown to us. Additionally there are two pages w/text stories - "Olga's Revenge, The Mysterious Lake, The Yellow Star" and "The Chinese Sage." Pages 20, 38, 44 and 55 are printed filler pages. Margins have editorial notes and some scattered dust soiling. Image areas are Exc. The Evans and Morrow stories have superb graphics.
