8x10.75" thin artboard has 3.75x7.75" India ink image area w/image of man in space suit and helmet standing full figure on planet surface w/small large-eyed alien peering from behind spaceman's leg and rocketship in bkg. c. 1950s. "Wood" ink signature at lower right is a neatly applied paste-up. Applied screen-tone area on white paint moon in bkg. is lightly tanned w/age, o/w Exc. Wood is recognized for his work at EC Comics w/"MAD" and sci-fi titles, Topps series of "Mars Attacks" gum cards as well as his work on "Daredevil" for Marvel Comics. A classic by the master! From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
