Item Description
Large 18.25" tall painted glass bottle w/raised "Smile" text on both sides of bottle around top is painted orange to simulate being filled. Bottle is marked "Contents 1 Gallon - Patented July 11 1922" in raised text around bottom. 1920s. The large bottle serves as a counter display at soda fountains. Bottle advertises drink by St. Louis, MO. based Orange Smile Syrup Company that manufactured Buster Cola, Cheer-Up Soft Drink, and Smile Orange Drink. Top rim has a .5" rim flake and painted surface has some dust soiling/aging. Fine overall. Rare.
