Item Description
5-3/8" tall toy w/separate umbrella attachment (total height is 7.5") has built-in key. Made In Occupied Japan. Mid-late 1940s. Toy has painted tin motor casing w/thin celluloid platform w/painted tin wheels while rest of toy is celluloid. 4" tall figure of Mickey Mouse is attached to a metal post and on top of this is a parasol w/attachments of small cello balls. Toy works and as it travels in a circle, the parasol attachment rapidly spins. Mickey has non-poseable arms. Some of the cello balls have dents and scattered dust soiling. Wheel paint shows moderate wear. Working and VF. Unique pose from post-war era.
