Auction #210 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1270 in auction 210
Item Description
First is 5.75" reading "Indiana/McKinley And Prosperity 1896." Lightly tanned with a couple of small touches of pale red color mixed in with the lettering of his name and along the very top edge with a small brown dot at far left. Still Fine. Second is 8.25" with very long brass tassels and NM luster embossed brass clasped hands bar pin hanger at top. Lettering in silver with separate applied diagonal piece of fabric so the full text reads "William McKinley, Of Ohio/Our Next President." Paper label by a Providence, Rhode Island maker Wm. R. Brown. Perhaps that accounts for the fabric being brown color. Exc. First we've seen of this one. Sen. Charles Dick Collection.
