Item Description
First is 4" tall with a silver luster patterned hanger bar holding a blue fabric ribbon joined to a metal loop on a 1.5" celluloid featuring a steel engraving of McKinley. Celluloid has a few small faint age marks but still high gloss. Ribbon has a little separation along the right edge but still very intact. Second item is 6" tall with double layer of fabric and gold braid accent at the top with 2" brass stickpin on the reverse. His facsimile signature below his portrait. Small bit of light brown aging around the portrait area but overall still Fine. Third is symbolic gold fabric 5.75" long with text "I March/Sound Money Demonstration, Sept. 16, '96." Two horizontal creases near the top and pair of straight pin holes at the very top. Extremely clean. Last is pair of 3.75" ribbons one reading "Wm. McKinley" and the other "Honest Money." These are both held by the straight pin of a .75" celluloid picturing McKinley and reading "Protection 96." Image is somewhat faint and with a bit of age. The ribbons are VF with just a barely visible hairline split next to the "K" of his name. All four pieces are scarce. Sen. Charles Dick Collection.
