Item Description
7.25x19.5” craft tint art board has 4.75x16-7/8” India ink image area w/three panels for strip #8079 Nov. 9. Clark and Lois are driving in their convertible when they are cut off by some of the “Purple Mob’s” enforcers. Clark acts fearful “So No One Will Suspect That Meek, Mild Clark Kent Is Secretly Superman!” Art is boldly signed in ink at lower right “Wayne Boring ‘64”. Blank margins have minor aging, image area Exc. Boring began working in the Siegel-Shuster shop in 1937, going on to ghost the Superman comic strip and eventually becoming the main artist. Nice ink work.
