Item Description
7/8" complete with W&H paper. Hake #2048. Smith became Governor of New York in 1918 and on May 4, 1919 the first legal Sunday baseball game was played in NYC. This button would be from his unsuccessful 1920 governor campaign which he lost in the GOP landslide of that year. Cello is very slightly concave but totally clean and glossy. Our last with stain exceeded $175.00. Hake 2004 guide value of $300.00.
