Item Description
This group consists of one burlap covered board 12x15" and ten burlap covered boards 5x8". Most are from the 1972 campaign. All sizes up to 3.5". The large board includes five items referencing impeachment, one jugate with Nixon and Chairman Mao, one 1972 anti-Ted Kennedy, and 31 pro-Nixon. Any that appear identical have some variation as to color or markings as Marshall Levin specialized in finding subtle differences. On the ten smaller boards there are 11 anti items, 21 reference the GOP, and 77 reference Nixon or Nixon/Agnew. In addition there is one 3" reading "Elect Newsweek In '72" promoting the weekly magazine. This has a number of long but relatively light scratches that show in reflected light. The vast majority of the items in this group are NM to Mint. Marshall Levin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
