9x14.5" card pinned by set of 24 cello 2.25" buttons, all black on cream. Set is also known in light green. Each includes the major title and subtitle of the set in addition to portrait illustration of noted personality purported to be homosexual or lesbian in addition to brief caption summarizing their career work. Each also has the 1980 publication date of the set. Pictured and pinned alphabetically are Hans Christian Anderson, Natale Clifford Barney, Romaine Brooks, Edward Carpenter, George Washington Carver, Emily Dickinson, Amelia Earhart, Margaret Fuller, Dag Hammarskjold, Helen Keller and her teacher Ann Sullivan, Abraham Lincoln, Harvey Milk, Marcel Proust, Elanor Roosevelt and Lorena Hickock, Sappho, Bessie Smith, Dame Ethyl Smyth, Karl Ulrichs, Alexander Von Humboldt, Dr. Mary Walker, Walt Whitman, Oscar Wilde, Victoria Woodhull, Virginia Woolf.
