Item Description
1.25" designed in stark black and white as a mourning button. We conclude from our research that this button was issued c. 1918 but the events listed could possibly go back as early as 1898. Complete text reads "I Am One Of The 3,000,000 American Jews who vigorously protest against the inhumane massacres of our co-religionists in Poland, Romania, Ukraina, Galicia & Bessarabia." First example we've seen that includes a back paper. It names Philadelphia Badge Co. Scarce and NM displaying Mint. Our last exceeded $450.00. See the following eight Jewish-related lots.
