Marvel Comics. Sketch Edition cover has been signed by British comic book artist Barry Kitson in black felt tip pen Feb. 2, 2013. In addition, Kitson has added a nearly full page, fully-rendered color portrait of Marvel Comics villain Thanos, who is fascinated w/nihilism and death, and worshiped and eventually fell in love w/the physical embodiment of death, Mistress Death. Thanos uses bionics and mysticism, becoming the most powerful of the Titans, and is often referred to as the Mad Titan. He was recently teased in the blockbuster movie "The Avengers." Art is beautifully done and takes the concept of sketch covers to an entirely different level and was specifically done for our consignor by request. Comic book itself features Jonathan Hickman story and Steve Epting art. White pages. Unique.
