Item Description
7" tall. At the top of his head are four thin creases in the material but the material itself remains extremely clean. In 1888, likely the issue date for this ribbon, he was elected to the House of Representatives from Cleveland's 21st District. He served several terms and won the 1908 Senate election. In 1916 he received 77.5 votes on the first ballot at the Republican national convention. A rare local issue ribbon.
