1.25" has darkened W&H paper. Front also has some stain including a little brown over his forehead, nose and cheeks with other marks on the outer rim edge mostly upper left and lower right going inward no more than 1/8". In addition there are three pinpoint shallow holes in the celluloid, two on the left background and one touching the edge of his cheek. Button retains nice gloss. Full text reads "Welcome Home 'Cy'/Season 1909/Wageman's." We do not know what the business was of this Boston area company but there are few surviving examples of their button with an unstained example from a 2004 REA auction realizing $1,150.00. Rare.
