Item Description
9x12 menu folder for "La Russo's Restaurant" in Chicago, IL. Front has been signed in blue ink by members of the 1957 American League Champions the New York Yankees team (managed by Casey Stengel). The team finished w/a record of 98-56 to win their 23rd pennant, finishing eight games ahead of the Chicago White Sox. In the World Series, the Yankees were defeated by the Milwaukee Braves in seven games. Menu has been signed by Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford, other key signatures include - Elston Howard, Al Cicotte, Jospeh Collins, Jerry Coleman and Bobby Shantz. Menus has two aged strips of tape along spine, not affecting signatures. Menu has been folded into quarters, folds affecting only four signatures, only Al Cicotte's first name being affected. VG/Fine overall, but majority of signatures still display well. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
