Item Description
Large 24.75x36.5" framed display contains masterfully rendered limited edition (91/2,500) display piece capturing the magic of the New York Knicks championship seasons, highlighted by an 9x11" cut piece from the floor of Madison Square Garden, upon which the Knicks claimed their World Championships in 1970 and 1973. Floorboards have been signed in blue felt tip pen by Knicks coach Willaim "Red" Holzman, and though his signature has faded somewhat, it remains legible. Display is complemented by various relics of the era, reproduced faithfully from the original programs, photographs and scoring sheets, and New York "Daily News" newspaper headline decals are displayed on the protective glass along w/"Knicks" basketball logos and basketball net decal. An impressive display piece for the serious Knicks fan, or any collector appreciating NBA excellence. Back of display comes w/COA and item comes with Hake's COA. From the collection of John Scher, legendary concert promoter, producer and manager.
