This 1946 Ovaltine premium has adjustable brass bands and a base which pictures elaborate Aztec designs. Top has small metal clip on the underside which holds a deep ruby red beveled plastic stone which slides off and has hollow interior for secret messages. This ring is essentially Mint like the day it was made and is extremely rare in this condition. This is among the scarcest premium rings as kids quickly lost the removable plastic stone top. A gorgeous essentially Mint example. Comes with 3.25x5.25" blue on white description and instruction folder for 1946 Ovaltine premium ring. Front text reads "The Story Of Your Secret Squadron Mystic Sun God Ring By Captain Midnight." Back page has illustration and text "How To Use The Secret Compartment" with illustration of ring opened and closed. Four pages. When open top edge has 1/8x3/8" piece out and below this a .25" dia. piece out. There are faint small creases to front cover around the first two words and an extra fold crease along part of the spine. Still very clean overall and even rarer than the ring.
