This "Sporting Kings" set is a Cuban caramel company issue. 180 paper picture cards in the set covering various sports but with the primary focus on baseball and boxing. A corresponding album was issued. Each card is about 2-1/8x3-1/8". Card fronts feature bw photos, text backs w/set name and athlete bio. Many key cards are featured on this sheet. Baseball players include: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ted Williams, Joe Dimaggio, Ty Cobb. Boxers include: Jack Johnson, James Jeffries, Jack Dempsey, John Sullivan, James Corbett, Max Schmeling. All of these cards appear numerically random on the sheet and run between numbers 1 and 99.
