See early examples #1176. Just missing 1903 edition from this run of years. All are softcovers. First 32 are 4-3/8x6.5” green cover format w/page count ranging from 342 to 640. Last five are 5x6-7/8” w/photo cover format w/page count ranging from 368 to 522. Full page photos include: Napoleon Lajoie, John Wagner, Clarke Griffith, Christy Matthewson, John J. McGraw, Charles Comiskey, Connie Mack, Walter Johnson, Tyrus Cobb, Rogers Hornsby. George H. (“Babe”) Ruth is in several photos including w/Lou Gehrig w/mention of 60 home runs and endorsements for Reach mitts and gloves. Lou Gehrig is shown at bat on covers of 1935 and 1937 books. Scattered light to moderate wear w/some cover and page corner creasing and dust soil. 1922 has cellophane tape on spine. Overall Good to Fine. An incredible instant collection of baseball history extensively illustrated throughout. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes w/Hake’s COA.
