16.5x22-1/8" first and only printing poster for Aug. 15, 1971 concert at the Wall Stadium in Belmar, NJ. that featured Jefferson Airplane and the J. Geils Band. Text at top of poster reads "Al Hayward & John Scher Presents Jefferson Airplane Plus J. Geils Band." Poster design features biplane flying over hazy image of band playing on stage. Poster was framed and matted for many years and has now been removed from frame, w/slightly brighter/whiter .25" margins, but these are not too distracting. Reverse has some scattered age spotting, but this does not affect front for display. Poster shows obvious wear w/four heavy vertical creases. VG overall. Rare. From the collection of John Scher, legendary concert promoter, producer and manager and comes with COA signed by him.
