Item Description
17.25x21.25" framed. For The Allman Brothers Band's fifth album, "Brothers And Sisters" which was released Aug., 1973, the group's first album recorded completely after the death of leader Duane Allman, and mostly after the death of bassist Berry Oakley. "Brothers And Sisters" saw the Allmans reach a commercial peak, logging five weeks at #1 on the US albums chart, and contained their only hit single, "Ramblin' Man," which climbed to #2 on the US singles chart. RIAA plate reads "Presented To John Scher To Commemorate The Sale Of More Than 500,000 Copies Of The Polydor/Polygram Records Long-Playing Record Album 'Brothers And Sisters'." Additionally, display has small replica of the album cover left of RIAA plate. This has corner curl but still fimly intact and not distracting. Scattered trace of wear to frame. VF overall. Great award for a classic album. From the collection of John Scher, legendary concert promoter, producer and manager and comes with COA signed by him.
