Item Description
10.75" tall tin litho astronaut w/head under clear plastic dome. Made in Japan by Daiya, 1960s. Astronaut is designed w/"Battery Box" air tanks on back to hold batteries and toy walks forward, lifts arms that hold space gun/drill, gun fires, creating a noise but no longer lighting tip. This is blue suit version w/tin litho head. Antenna is missing, but replacements are easily found online. Scattered wear, most evident on battery box/air tanks. Gun/drill also shows wear. No cracks to plastic dome. Overall, toy retains bright and glossy appearance w/lt. scattered wear to the tin body. Still a working and Fine/VF example.
