Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 10.25" tall mostly tin litho (w/some plastic parts) battery-operated robot made in Japan by Nomura, 1960s. Box lid features great illustrations of the robot (differing slightly from toy's actual appearance) and has instructions on side panel. Scattered wear w/corner/edge creases and slight fade. VG/Fine. This is "black" version w/tin litho eyes. Arms swing, toy clangs and stops. Guns on front light as does large light inside plastic-encased head and guns produce firing noise and then toy starts to move again. "Robotank Z" name on front of toy, under guns and on back. Sides feature great detail, w/embossed rockets labelled "Z-1" through "Z-4" over "RT-Z" tanks. Complete w/wire antennas on sides of head. Exc.
