Item Description
15.75x24" paper sign for promotional tie-in for "The Adventures Of Kit Carson" Western TV series that aired Aug. 1951 to Nov. 1955 and was originally sponsored by Coca-Cola. Sign features large bw art portrait of Bill Williams as Kit Carson along w/smaller image of him on horseback and image of co-star Don Diamond, Carson's Mexican sidekick "El Toro." Large "Drink Coca-Cola" red circle at bottom right. Window sign text reads "See Adventures Of Kit Carson TV Show Presented By Your Coca-Cola Bottler - See Your Newspaper For Time & Station." Corners has strips of staining from original window adhesive and some scattered handling wear along margins but sign is o/w bright, clean and VF. Scarce.
