Item Description
Small, 2.75" dia. replica of chauffeur's hat, complete w/leather coin purse area while hat brim and underside w/latching lid are metal. c. 1915. Underside of hat features detailed scene of chauffeur in driver's seat of c. 1915 car w/woman standing alongside car, which has passengers in back seat. Metal parts have scattered aging, which lends a nice patina. Fine. Leather shows more wear w/small surface dents/scratches to top of hat. VG. Wonderfully clever design.
