Item Description
4-5/8x23.75" wooden board (w/jigsawed ends) features silk-screened bw image of Hopalong Cassidy at left, tipping his cowboy hat. Text on pegged clothes rack reads "Roberts Round-Up Clothes Corral - Hang 'Em Up Here Cowpokes" and rack was meant for clothing, hats or cap guns. Made by G.E. Lyons Industries of Hannibal, MO. 1950s. These were generally dairy company premiums and as such, multiple issuer imprint varieties exist. This example has "Roberts Milk" imprint at right, though this shows some unevenness due to roughness of wood. 9" surface crack at right, rack remains structurally sound. Missing two metal screw hangers from top and three wooden dowels, but these were generic in nature and are easily replaceable. Fine/VF overall.
