Item Description
3x5" lined notecard has been signed in black ink by Hilton Smith (1907-1983), an American pitcher in Negro League baseball, signing w/the Kansas City Monarchs in late 1936. From 1937 until his retirement in 1948, Smith was a star pitcher on The Monarchs, possessing an outstanding curveball. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001. In addition to his signature, Hilton has added "Pitcher - Kansas City Monarchs" inscription. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
