9x12" paper mailer w/two double-sided pages and 7.25x10.25" cover proof (w/blank back for "Buzzy" #1 comic book). This fits diagonally as tiny corner mounts have been added to interior to keep proof in place for display. Issued by DC Comics in 1944 to promote the new "Buzzy" title, mentioning "Another Superman D-C Publication" and listing Oct. 6, 1944 release date. Folded as mailed. Fine/VF. Cover proof has horizontal fold line as issued but is o/w VF. Rare and first we've seen in our 48 years.
