Pair of softcovers for 1942 featuring cartoon collage-like covers for Mickey Rooney film "The Courtship Of Andy Hardy" w/interior text and photos and Abbott & Costello film "Rio Rita" w/interior text and photos. Back cover features different Leo the Lion cartoons. First publication (#7) contains bw slick pages w/numerous photos and ads, including Donna Reed page, "Gone With The Wind" second Anniversary two-page spread, Conrad Veidt, and "Our Gang" shorts. Second publication (#8) contains photos and ads for child actor Robert "Bobby" Blake, the Dionne Quintuplets and Red Skelton "Ship Ahoy" film. Covers have scattered dust soiling, pinch creases to spines and handling wear. Fine overall. Limited distribution mainly for movie theater owners to promote new product.
