See previous items #1474-1475. Pair of softcovers for 1944-1945 featuring art "Madame Curie" and "Week-End At The Waldorf" covers. Back cover features March of Dimes advertisement and Leo the Lion cartoon. First publication (Vol. 3, #2) contains bw slick pages w/numerous photos and ads, including inside front cover color collage for "Lassie Come Home," "Thousands Cheer;" Spencer Tracy film "A Guy Named Joe" and "Our Gang" short "Radio Bugs." Second publication (Vol. 4, #4) contains photos and ads including inside front cover ad for Frank Sinatra Film "Anchors Aweigh" as well as color fold-out inside, Ginger Rogers, Lana Turner and Tex Avery cartoon "Swing Shift Cinderella." Covers have scattered dust soiling, pinch creases to spines and handling wear. First issue has .75" edge chip w/archival tape repair. Fine overall. Limited distribution mainly for movie theater owners to promote new product.
