Item Description
9.75" long tin litho gun by Marx. ©1929 KFS, though produced in the 1930s. Similar in style to the Flash Gordon clicker guns produced by Marx, this version has portrait image of Popeye in pirate hat on both sides of grip, one side of barrel having "Popeye Pirate Pistol" text w/image of anchor while other side has small portraits of Wimpy, Olive Oyl, Roughhouse and Cole Oyl. Gun has scattered tiny nicks but remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. w/working clicker mechanism. Scarce.
