Item Description
8x10" matte finish photo taken the morning of Saturday, June 8, 1968 just before Edward M. Kennedy addressed over 2000 Kennedy family invited guests. Next to Robert Kennedy's flag draped coffin on the left are: singer Andy Williams, advance man Champ Gallivan, and advance man Jerry Bruno. On the right are athletes Roosevelt Grier and Rafer Johnson and RFK staffer Joe Dolan. Photo reverse has three short streaks of missing surface paper plus a taped on yellow card bearing the inked inscription "(The First Vigil)". Photo front has only very minor wear and displays Mint. At the service conclusion Andy Williams sang The Battle Hymn Of The Republic. Jerry Bruno Collection. Comes With Hake's COA.
