Item Description
12.25x17.5" flat from c. 1942. Banner across bottom reads "A Model Airplane In Every Package." Back panel features two cut-out "Plane Spotter Cards" featuring World War II Warplanes - featured on this flat are #17 Martin B-26 "Marauder" and #18 Bell P-39 "Airacobra." Additional images of each plane and small battle diagram grace back. Box contained one of a series of punch-out model planes. These were packaged one per box. Flat has not been folded and has even lt. aging and scattered corner tip wear. VF. Comes w/8.5x11" retailer's promo flyer that unfolds to 17x22". Issued in June 1942, flyer has fishing theme and includes text relating to and images of the premium warplane models and "Plane Spotter Cards." Folded as issued w/handling wear and some scattered creasing. Fine. Nice piece to go along w/box flat.
