Item Description
1977. Lot consists of main piece of envelope kit which is 18x15" stiff cardboard sheet that was to be used as display stand for the first 12 figures in the Star Wars Kenner action figure line. Missing from the bottom of sheet are a pair photos and "Space Club Card" which have been separated along perforation. Small tabs where action figures were to be placed have been punched out and come w/complete amount of 12 plastic pegs. A few dimples/lt. creases and lt. wear mostly at edges of stand. VF. Next is set of four loose Kenner Star Wars action figures available prior to their release in the stores acquired by mailing in the Early Bird Certificate that came with stand. Action figures including standard blonde Luke Skywalker w/the exceedingly rare double-telescoping lightsaber that extends to 1-5/8" long, Princess Leia, Chewbacca and R2-D2. Leia has pistol and Chewbacca has his bowcaster (black). Lt. wear to figures. Lt. aging to R2D2 decal. Luke has lt. paint wear on hands and belt. Lightsaber tip has some wave to it, not perfectly straight. Figures are all still Exc. The double-telescoping Luke Skywalker figure is one of the most sought after action figures in the original Star Wars line.
