Begun April 22, 1935, the 26-episode weekly radio serial followed the strip very closely, amounting to a week-by-week adaptation of the Sunday strip for most of its run. The series starred Gale Gordon and ended Oct. 26 with Flash and Dale’s marriage. A new series, “The Further Interplanetary Adventures of Flash Gordon”, began Oct. 28 and ran until Feb. 6, 1936. Original sleeves are worn. Good. Discs have typical surface wear and aging. Fine. Interesting group w/limited distribution, not available to the public.
