1-1/16" with brass beveled rim and 1" stickpin on the reverse. Ferrotype has two near pinpoint black dots at extreme right. The emulsion is otherwise near perfect. Although mostly covered by a silver paper insert the name "Grant" appears above his head. Surrounding the silver accent is a magenta paper insert resulting in a wonderfully colorful 1868 campaign item. Only very minor loss of the silver and magenta colors from their inner edges. Similar to DeWitt 1868-92 but in a larger size. Includes Ford's notated paper envelope and labeled plastic holder from Stacks Bowers auction Sept. 19-20, 2013. Formerly in the collections of F.C.C.
