Item Description
1.25" full color depicts long-horned steer with three white branding symbols on his side. Also reads "Presidential Roundup Nov. 8, 1904." Reverse has Whitehead & Hoag back paper. The brand designs on the side of the steer refer to his 1880s North Dakota ranches. The first was Chimney Butte Ranch symbolized by Maltese Cross. The second was Elkhorn Ranch symbolized by horn and triangular symbols. Reverse has tiny oxidation traces. Front has near microscopic pinhole in the celluloid on steer's neck. Superb color and full gloss. Still displays essentially Mint. Unlisted in Hake guides.
