Item Description
Each is 1.25" and all are unlisted in Hake. The first is from 1896 showing "McKinley & Hobart" and reading "McKinley Club, Canton, S.D." Reverse has W&H paper. Very tiny dent on the reverse collet and the front celluloid has very minor surface wear only in reflected light. No stain. One of the few buttons specifically inscribed for South Dakota. Next are from 1900 and both read "Canton Republican Club" although we don't know if the club was in South Dakota or Ohio. Each has W&H paper. The white background example is NM while the gold one has tiny traces of surface wear in reflected light and very slight loss of the gold luster along the left edge. Julie Powell Collection.
