Item Description
1.25" from very obscure button maker with lightly tanned back paper reading "Made By The American Photo Button Co. 200 E. Walnut Street., Des Moines, Iowa." Reverse collet has a fixed horizontal bar pin. The celluloid has a few small tan age marks on the upper left but barely noticeable as they lay on the curl. Between the names of the 1900 candidates is pictured an actual hat with crossed saber emblem on the upturned front brim. Upper center of the button has extremely shallow dent noticeable to the touch. Button retains full gloss. Unlisted in Hake and the only example known to us.
