Unusual design features include over-sized shoes and though his head is turned, both ears remain in frontal view. One leg is slightly bent at knee (as produced) and his chest protrudes slightly. Scattered paint wear w/areas of bare metal showing on nose. Paint on gloves shows aging, w/crazing to surface. Fine overall. This item was privately purchased by Maurice Sendak for $17,500.
