Item Description
17.5x17.5x1.75" thin cardboard box has bold image of Dick Tracy bursting through target aiming pistol at viewer. Marx, c. 1930s. Thin cardboard box is creased along top and bottom edges w/.5" to 1.5" tears. Despite this, box remains clean, bright and Fine overall. 17" dia. heavy cardboard target is variety w/o wood easel back, has die-cut hole at top for hanging. Has nice art by creator Chester Gould w/Tracy pointing towards central score. Copyright next to Gould's facsimile signature and text at bottom "Licensed By Famous Artists Syndicate Inc." Target is Exc. Does not come w/gun or dart, though does come w/envelope w/illustrated instructions. Scattered wear but complete and VF. Superbly designed set w/choice graphics.
