Item Description
Thin art board has 5x18” India ink image area w/Donald and Scrooge in all four panels dated Jan. 28. Donald angrily demands a raise, then continues to lower his demands as Scrooge gets angrier. Finally he says “Naturally I’d Expect To Give Up My Two-Week Vacation!” Panel four has “Walt Disney” ink signature as done by staff artist. Complete w/Walt Disney Productions copyright sticker in panel two, King Features distribution sticker in panel three. Art has applied zipatone dot pattern shading which has tanned as typical over the years, word balloons have a few ink words crossed out w/new lead pencil text added, otherwise Fine. Nice example w/Donald as Scrooge’s employee. Penciled by Al Taliaferro and inked by Ellis Eringer.
