Item Description
Thin art board has 5.5x19.25” India ink image area w/Donald in all four panels dated June 11. Donald brings home large block of granite, puts on beret and jacket, and says “Okay, Now Smile!” as he begins to sculpt Daisy. Panel four has “Walt Disney” ink signature as done by staff artist. Complete w/Walt Disney Productions copyright sticker in panel two, King Features distribution sticker in panel four. Art has applied zipatone dot pattern shading which has tanned as typical over the years and is missing in a few small places, otherwise Exc. Well-drawn early example by the noted artist who did the Donald Duck comic strip from 1938 to 1969.
