Item Description
First are five ribbon badges 6.5" to 8" tall. The second and fifth are ribbons only while the other three have pins or stickpins. Group begins with "Delegate" ribbon picturing Jefferson for 1896 "Democratic Societies Of Pennsylvania" convention in Erie. Minor creases but Exc. Second is from same event but also reading "Deputy/Randall Club/Pittsburg, Pa." Has five vertical stress separations each about 1" tall but still displays cleanly. Next with light dust soil is for "Alderman McGarey Club." Next reading "Allegheny Co." is for "State Treasurer Jon. W. Crawford." Last with photo of man we can't identify was issued by the "Young Men's Republican Tariff Club." Light crease but still VF. Next item is a 3.75" stickpin with ribbons. Also issued by the Tariff Club and dated for the 1898 event. Couple of tiny nicks from insects on the ribbons but still Fine. The remaining eight items are non-political. There is an ornate ribbon badge for the "Pittsburg Commercial Travelers", one tiny split on one ribbon. There are two lapel studs and a third lapel stud with ribbons issued for the "1898/28th National Saengerefest." There is a small silvered metal lapel stud showing "Fort Pitt" issued for 1896 convention of the "Natl. Brickmakers Ass'n." Next is an Elks button followed by an 1898 college fraternity convention ribbon badge. Last item reads simply "Etna Committee." Conditions are VF to Exc. except as noted.
