8.75x11.25" hard cover ©1990 and 2003 by Joe Simon and Jim Simon published by Vanguard Productions. Book has 194 high quality slick paper pages extensively illustrated with photos and drawings from Simon’s long career in comic books including his work with Jack Kirby. Inside front cover has classic full figure ink and acrylic painting w/some lead pencil of Cap holding shield, signed at lower right “Captain America On Your Side Joe Simon 2006”. Book was obtained directly from Mr. Simon at the San Diego Comic Con in 2006. NM. Lavishly illustrated inside story of the Golden Age of American comic books by an artist who was there. Superb painting by the artist who created Captain America w/Jack Kirby in 1941.
