c. 1960s. Vintage mat has 15x24.25” opening revealing acrylic painting w/Midshipmen leaving snow covered Bancroft Hall which has Christmas decorations. Signed “Geo. Henkel” at lower right. Mat has lt. aging, painting is Exc. Wonderful atmospheric scene w/superb use of light and shadow.
