Thin art board has 4.75x17.5” India ink image area w/four panels for July 10. Seaman Dudley is requesting shore leave and captain gives him a test by having peg legged crew member show him a picture w/girl in bikini and St. Bernard to identify. Dudley only identifies St. Bernard and crew member tells captain “Sir, We May Have Kept Dudley On Board Too Long.” Panel two has ink signature “B Parker”, top margin has fiber tip pen inscription “To Larry, With Best Wishes –Johnny Hart and B Parker”. Complete w/Field Enterprises © sticker in panel one. Clean and Exc. Funny early example w/both creator’s signatures.
