Item Description
Art boards average 11.5x14.5” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed all four covers in ink. Art is for Harvey Publications issues Dec. 1959, Jan., Feb., and Aug. 1960. Scenes include parade w/Sad Sack getting hit w/slide trombone while drumming, hitting tree limb while driving and watching Sarge flying out of runaway jeep, being lassoed by boy cowboy to fire hydrant, being hit w/suction cup arrow in front of target. Dog Muttsy is in three of four covers. A few margin pencil notes. Image areas will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Bw #101 cover proof comes along. Well drawn and funny.
