Item numbers 1197 through 2870 in auction 211
Item Description
Framed original art from the collection of arcade historian Bill Kurtz, author of such books as "The Encyclopedia Of Arcade Video Games" and "Arcade Treasures." 28.5x30.75" frame contains original mixed media backglass artwork for "Motordome" pinball machine produced by Bally in 1986. 2,000 units were produced. Art is nicely finished and features a scene inspired by "Mad Max" w/motorcycle warriors wearing plumed helmets and spiked body armor racing on raised tracks, several falling off the track to their doom. Margins are bordered by lightning bolt designs. Art has been double-matted and displays NM. Art was created by Tony Ramunni and has been signed by the artist. Original pinball art rarely comes up for sale and is highly coveted. Framed art stands alone as a great piece of art in its own right and would be the perfect piece for your game room.
