Item Description
Pair of 10x12" sheets of animation paper, both featuring images of Ferdinand the Bull from the 1938 animated short of the same name. First sheet is marked "Sc. 51 - 52" and has image area measuring 6.25x7". Done primarily in lead pencil w/additional red pencil accents and green pencil shading, art depicts full body image of Ferdinand sitting on his haunches. Additional "1407" notation at lower left. Left 1" margin has vertical crease. Second sheet is marked "109 - Sc 60A" at lower right and has image area measuring 4x5" and shows Ferdinand's head propped up by his hoof as his tail dangles a bunch of flowers in front of his nose, which he sniffs w/a smile on his face. Image is done in lead pencil w/some colored pencil coloring to flowers and accents to Ferdinand. Additional "1487" notation at lower left. Both sheets have tiny "Copyright 1938 Walt Disney Productions" ink stamps along lower margin. Sheets have lt. handling wear/aging but art areas remain Exc.
